What is Islam and who are Muslims? These are questions that took on particular significance after the catastrophic events of Sept 11, 2001. Since that time many people have tried to understand how a religion could motivate its adherents to commit such acts of violence. Imam Hendi, a devout Muslim scholar, was called upon to offer insight and explanations to U.S government agencies, TV & radio stations, churches, synagogues and universities.

Viewers will find the answers to this and more in the release of Imam Hendi's new series "Islam from Within". In the midst of tears, the viewer will hear Imam Hendi explain Islam’s basic tenets and if they include advocating violence.
